SHOULD YOU HAVE CUSTOM SPORTS MEDALS
I just love the idea of personalized and custom sports awards; especially when we are talking about young people. I was visiting someone one day and they had dozens of sports medals. I was surprised that so many were the same. I supposed that she had gotten them from the same place but they came from a variety of events. Each of these events had purchased stock soccer medals.
IS IT EXPENSIVE TO HAVE CUSTOM MEDALS MADE?
Not at all. If one did 100 of them they could be in the neighborhood of $5.00 to $5.50 each. But what you get is the medal in your choice of finishes. (For example gold, silver and bronze.) You get your choice of ribbons and most importantly a completely unique medal for your program or event. If you need larger orders the sports medals can get considerably cheaper.
THE KIWANIS DE AMIGOS RELAYS
A number of years ago we started supporting this event in Tucson Arizona. The remarkable folks at this Kiwanis club put together a massive track and field event for local junior high kids. In the Tucson area junior high schools rarely have developed sports programs and especially not Track and Field. This expanded into another event called The Rattlesnake Run. Anyway, we made medals for the participants in both. The Rattlesnake Run Medals look like this:

The kids love them. They are professional and unique. And in the quantities they order not any more expensive than cheap generic medals. (It doesn’t hurt that they have an in with the company that makes them but we are suckers for kid charities.)

Well alright, we don’t pay for them but we do the design for you free of charge. For example we did lapel pins like the medals so every kid could have a memento of the event. (Note: They are WAY cheaper than T-shirts which the kids got also but then I digress.)
